Decorating for the seasons is a wonderful way to keep things fresh and interesting in your home. Just adding some colorful pillows, lamps, accessories and fresh flowers is enough to bring the look to life.

I will always be Team pastels! All these pictures are lovely, home decor is one my guilt pleasures! I can spend hours on Pinterest looking at home decor boards!
I do like pastels, but I have generally always gone with earth tones in my house. I have lots of brown, dark orange and burgundy.
I do like the pastels too. I’ve always leaned that way. It’s amazing how you can transform a room by just adding the right colors.
Wow – how am I supposed to choose when you portray both pastels and brights so beautifully!
Those colors are so pretty. The colors in my home are deeper than pastels, more like jewel tones. I love the way you pull together a room!
I’m a huge fan of both pastel and bright colors. Yellow is my favorite color so we tend to use it in our home all year round. Plus, it makes me very happy!

I think I’m more of a bright colors girl. Although the pastels in your examples are quite beautiful, the bright colors call to me.
I’m not really a fan of too many bright colors, but those rooms look fabulous! The decor that I have for the Spring is mainly pastels. I love very light colors, but they do also look great when paired with some bright colors as well.
The brighter colors appeal to me more. We have dark wood in our home and I think it needs the brighter colors to offset all that dark.
I love the pastels myself but after seeing some of the photos above they are very nice as well:) I think I will stick with the pastels but it would be tempting to use some of the bright colors above, very nice photos. Thanks for sharing.
I’m loving that color which is like a cross between Teal and Cobalt Blue. Like a bluish hybrid if you will. I also love pastels, I think they are so soft and dainty.

What lovely colors just in time for spring! They are incredible! I enjoy pastels as well although I go for the warmer colors in the autumn.

Oh I love all those looks. I love a combination of pastels and bright bold colors. Frankly; I’m just sick and tired of seeing white everywhere. Give me color! lol.
I do love that pink room but my hubby would kill me if I made our place pastel pink I prefer the bright colors I suppose it’s more gender neutral

I’m team pastels all the way. Though from time to time I do like some bolder and darker colors. Bright colors don’t relax me and make me feel at peace like pastels do.
I love bright pastels, but not in every room and not for all year. But those rooms were drop dead gorgeous!

I do love bright colors but tend to not use them in my own home.
It is possible to keep a fresh organized home with dogs and kids. A little bit more upfront planning, but it is possible
Wow the pastels really do brighten up the room! some of them looked like Barbie’s playhouse, but with reason pastels look nice
I always thought I was a pastels person but it reminds me of Easter. The brighter colors have a pastel tone but are more Spring! I love it!

It is hard to choose!
I like the soft brightness that pastels offer. It makes the room feel more cheerful.
I thought I would like the lighter colors, but maybe it’s the choices because I like the bolder colors here.

I had never thought of this before, funny I love pastels for my clothing but for my house I love the bold bright colors. I am just starting to decorate our home so I am on the hunt for Spring items.

I like these looks. The Houndstooth pattern on the pillows appeals to me too. I’ve always liked that look (for decorating and fashion).

I think this year I am feeling the bright and vibrant colors! Pastels seem too soft for what i’m feeling.
I really like the last one, with the chair in front of the window and the bookcase. It looks relaxing.
I love them all! I would likely end up choosing the lighter colors, just so as to not be overwhelmed, but…I don’t know…now that I’m thinking about it, my house could really use some pops of bright!
I love the pops of color! My house is so NOT colorful. Grey walls – white trim – white accessories. I love it though. Our pops of color depends on the season and what holiday I have decorated for. However these pictures have me thinking twice!

I love them all! Beautiful choices…I have citron yellow accents in my home, against deep dark blue.
I like pastel blues and greens but not pink so much.
I say pastels for me all the way. I think the dark colors are nice, but a little too loud for my taste.

For me it depends on the room whether I would choose pastels or color. For the main rooms, I would prefer bright colors but for bedrooms, I would prefer pastels.
The bright colors work well here in Florida with all the sunshine. As for pastels, unfortunately, for decades we got an overdose of the “old” pastels … although they had nothing to do what what you’re presenting here! Lovely boards!

I honestly love both pastels & bright colors! However, for my current new home, birhgt colors work better
In your samples I prefer the pastels. Otherwise I am more into the earthy colors for my own home. I believe it would be fun to decorate for the seasons.. I’ve never done that except for Christmas.. I’m putting it on my bucket list of things I want to do.
