It’s 8:00am on Sunday, and I just woke up to another beautiful day. I have just finished my quiet time with God, and in just a little while I will be getting ready to head to Sunday fellowship and worship at Westland Baptist Church followed by lunch with the kids.
I love Sundays, and I look forward to my usual routine each week. It feeds my soul and keep me focused on what’s important in my life.
I usually don’t post on Sundays, but today, I felt deep down inside my heart, that someone may need a word of encouragement and inspiration…..even just a reminder to just relax and enjoy another beautiful day that the Lord has made.
My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him. Psalm 62:1
So today, be reminded that it is a good thing to rest and relax. And whatever in your life that is trying to steal your joy, just remember how much you are loved. You are wonderful and beautiful, and created for great things!

Lovely post, thank you. I slept late today, just like I do on Sundays. Then I read some Bible and devotional books I have, and had a moment for prayer. It is wonderful to be in communion with God.

Lol. I am also a huge fan of sundays. I like having all the children home. The younger they are the less school pressure there is so it is all fun and games.

Let’s see…I spent my Sunday hanging at home, cleaning my house in anticipation of a an upcoming family get together. It was a good time and I was happy for some down time. I love your post. Nice encouragement.
Sunday is a work day in Israel. It’s equivalent to your Mondays… beginning of the workweek. So not quite a resting day, more like the day of back to exhaustion.
