I Am A Top Mommy Blogs Blogger! Yay Me!

I’m sure some of my fellow bloggers can relate to this: It’s hard getting noticed in the vast blogosphere.

As an Interior Decorator who blogs about design trends, tips and inspiration, as well as my life as a business owner and single mom, it is hard standing out from the crowd. I mean, what I write about isn’t that unique, so I have been searching for ways to help The Naked Decorator stand out just a bit more.

Speaking of things I blog about, here are my top 13 posts of 2013. Feel free to revisit and comment

One of my big goals for 2014 is to take my design business, my online store and my blog to the next level. As I mentioned in a previous post about my goals for 2014, I am planning a major overhaul for the image of my websites, online store and blog. I am also planning to network heavily, both face to face and online.

One major step in the right direction is being a part of Top Mommy Blogs. What an honor to have been accepted into this elite group of mommy bloggers. If you are not familiar with Top Mommy Blogs, it is a ranked and rated directory of some of the best blogs and resources geared towards moms. Top Mommy Blogs has several categories ranging from Family life, adoptions, home-schooling, postpartum depression, to fashion & style, home & garden and everything in between. They strive to bring all things mommy related into one easy to use directory. I am so happy to be a part of this group, and to be able to share my thoughts, experiences and ideas and maybe inspire fellow moms out there. Please take a look at The Top Mommy Blogs site

Many of you have voted for me to rank higher in the Top Mommy Blogs directory, and for that I am very grateful. You can continue to vote for me daily to help me rank even higher. When I first joined, I was in the 673rd position overall and I think #19 in my category (Home and Garden). Today, thanks to you my wonderful friends, I am in #2 position in the Home and Garden category, and #72 overall. How amazing is that? I couldn’t be more proud of you and all your help getting there.

What this means for The Naked Decorator is more visibility and just being able to share my small slice of the world with others and hopefully make some new friends in the process. If just one mommy, or anyone out there for that matter, finds some inspiration and value in what I write, then it is all worth it

Top Mommy Blogs

I am so blessed to be a part of The Top Mommy Blogs Directory. I thank you again for allowing me the opportunity to inspire. Anything that helps to make a mom’s life that much easier is something I will no doubt enjoy.

On a side note, I am sure that if you use Facebook for business, you are aware of the changes that have negatively affected business pages and our ability to reach our fans. Many businesses are seeking new ways to get in front of their fans without having to pay to promote – Many have turned to Google+. I am one of those business pages and I would love to have you join me on Google+. Here’s my badge if you’d like to join me there.



Another group that I am a part of that I’d like to mention is the Master Designer. This group seeks to gracefully share our Christian faith with anyone who is interested in knowing more. We believe that design is a high calling – one that can improve the life of others, fosters relationships and create joy
