How do you buy a gift for the guy who has everything?
With Father’s Day just a couple of days away, many are still trying to find that perfect gift to show dad how much they truly care. Dads are really hard to buy for, but don’t lose hope, I am here to help!
Here’s what NOT to get dad this year:
Well, I guess underwear is ok if your dad is David Beckham
All kidding aside, the question still remains: What do I get dad for Father’s Day?
Well, if you can afford it, I’m sure your dad would appreciate that sports car he had to forego to send you to college.
Or that luxury timepiece he has been dreaming of
But what if you could get dad something that would really enhance his life – a haven from his busy lifestyle – a place where he could “get-away” right at home. How about a man cave for dad? That would be THE perfect gift for dad, right? Maybe, even for yourself?
Ok maybe now you’re wondering where the space would come from to create the perfect man cave for dad. Is there a spare room in the home that is not being used to its full potential? Is there a basement or attic? Does dad already have a den or study that he spends a lot of time in anyway? Or maybe even the garage? A man cave is simply a male sanctuary where “guys can do as they please” without fear of upsetting any female sensibility about the home’s decor or design. It can be anywhere in the home really: A specially equipped garage, spare bedroom, media room, den, basement, attic, shed or tool room. It’s the function that matters.
According to psychiatrists it’s important for a man to have a place he can call his own and a place to retreat to. It can be a refuge from stressful surroundings and very beneficial to marriages. Let’ face it…..the rest of the house belongs to the women The main purposes for a man cave include: A place for a man to be alone, or be away from the women in his life. A place where he can indulge in his hobbies, and hang out with male friends. It is, loosely, a male-only space to retreat to – maybe to watch sports or play video games, or just work without interruptions. Whatever the reason, what dad really needs is a man cave!
Now that we have identified the perfect reason and perfect space to treat dad to his own retreat, time to call Casa Vilora Interiors to “trick” out dad’s man cave. You can start by giving dad a Casa Vilora Interiors gift certificate on Father’s Day, and when dad calls to schedule his consultation, I will take care of every tiny detail to make sure his “man cave” is perfect for his wants and needs.
Is your dad into sports, cars, playing pool, wine tasting, or reading? Whatever it is, I can create the perfect at home get-away.
Here are some great examples from various online sources to inspire you….and dad.
So you see, there is no father’s day gift like a personalized retreat for dad.

What a great post Veronica. All I need in my man cave is a large HD tv so I can watch some football. That’s all I watch on tv.
Other than that, I just need a nice easy chair and my wife to enjoy each other’s company!!
That man cave would be awesome! but really there is no room here for that…
Really a Great Post!
What a great idea!!! I sent my dad an apple strussle cake (at 90 he doesn’t need a Man Cave) and he and my mom are enjoying every bit of it!!
I enjoyed the pictures. My man cave is my garage…I have everything I need there.
The garage is my dad’s place to escape. He has all his woodworking tools and equipment in there. He has a television and a refrigerator there too. You’ll find him in there more often than in any other part of his house.
Great post Veronica!
Every man needs man cave to chill out in..
My husband wants to take over the nursery to make him a man cave/nursery! LOL
We NEED your help Veronica! We have some space that does NOT look like these beautiful spaces do! Man Cave or as my husband dreams Home Theater room – either way there’s no way I can produce this myself! btw – these are all beautiful!
I’m here for you anytime Laurie!
I need to have you come look at my current Man Cave for ideas to raise the bar
I’d love to Kevin!
