I have been doing a bit of research recently for a potential new project – Refreshing the interiors of a yacht decorated back in the 1980′s.
With each new project, the space speaks to me, and I know exactly what it needs. Coupled with the needs and desires of the client, it makes for a beautiful finished design.
Sometimes I seek inspiration from other designers I admire; even just to provide my clients with the visual help of a finished space that is similar to their goals.
So with this potential new project, I have been looking for inspiring yacht interior designs, and boy there is so much to see and love out there.

I am definitely inspired by what I have seen so far. My favorite is the design with the orange accents – maybe because orange is my favorite color.

My potential new client has a very unique idea in mind for this project. I am excited to get started on it!

I’m torn. I love the first three designs! I have a thing for prints, floral, and color! There is a lot of inspiration to work with.
I can;t wait to see pictures of what you come up with on your new job. How exciting. I have never even seen a real life yacht. I am sheltered LOL!

Everything having a cubby and saving space is so important. I love the inset lighting – it makes the space look bigger!

Ohhh, how fun! I have NEVER been inside of a yacht! The closest I’ve ever been is my brother in law’s pontoon. HA! I love all the designs. I wouldn’t be able to make up my mind.
I so want to live in some of these places you show. They are beautiful.

All I know is that I want a yacht; I would probably name it something dumb and creative to be that one guy.
Good luck! I like the ones that have the most space and are more open and contemporary. Like the one with the couches all in front of the windows.
Those yachts are just amazing! I love that last picture, it reminds me of a living/entertaining space in a home. I love them all actually!

I really like a good yacht interior and I really like that design with the bright pops of pink. So pretty and thanks for all the inspiration.
I like the darker seating… But then I love all of this. I have never been on a yacht and it looks so awesome and rich!

Wow, I can’t even imagine trying to decorate a yacht! I can barely get my own regular house on ground decorated! LOL! These looks are all so pretty and elegant!
