Hello boys and girls! :-) hope your day is off to a great start! I am smack dab in the middle of a few new projects that have me really busy….not that I am complaining 
but I had to find time to post a short article today – just for you guys!
Let’s play another guessing game today. Come on, it will be fun!
Below I am posting a photo of a wonderfully finished room that looks really great upon first glance. But if you look closely, there is a slight and tiny mis-step that is actually on my list of decorating pet peeves. I want you to look at the picture closely and try to guess what that slight mis-step is and rate this room (using a scale of 1-10 with 1 being blah and 10 being fabulous). If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you may already know the answer. Are you game?

I’ve looked closely at the picture but I couldn’t find the mis-step!!!!! At fist glance the room look fabulous, but actually I think I wouldn’t decorate it like taht if it was mine, because it’s not my style, that’s why I rate it 7 out of 10!
Now I’ curious to know what’s wrong with it!!! Looking forward for your next post!
The room looks amazing! I would say the miss step is you don’t like the geese or ducks?? lol i have no clue!
Not my style of decor, so I would give it a 7… I like things done in odd numbers, so I would prefer having an accent color – I’m assuming the red in the floral arrangement is not your accent. However, my biggest pet peeve is picture placement. These pictures go all the way to the ceiling. I would feel more comfortable if they were grouped to enjoy as I’m sitting, since this is a room where people sit. Love your contests! Can’t wait to see what the answer is!

I would rate it an 7 out of 10. It’s beautiful, but not my style.
I’m going to guess it’s the big mirror in the middle. It’s throws off the room because you can see bits and pieces of the painting on the adjacent wall, etc.
Just a guess.
The first thing that pops out is the picture on the upper left is it’s off color from the rest. I’m not sure if it’s just how the canderholders are different or just how they are positioned. Can’t wait to see the misstep. The room is not my style at all however I can appreciate it.

WOW – I guess I am not as observant as I thought. I couldn’t find the mis-step!!
8 of 10!.. Only because there is 2 different candle sticks.. the reflection in mirrors seems pretty off, unless the pics and things in the back is all off lol..
I would guess that the light is not centered above the table. I am guessing without looking at anyone’s responses.

The top two pictures of the birds meed to switch place so they look at each other.
I give it a 7/10. And I’ll guess it’s the ceiling lighting (the double-ring of candle thingy) you don’t like.

I bet it is the carpet! From watching HGTV I would say the carpet should not be there or at least be big enough so that chairs are fully on the carpet
